Dutch artist, born in Bloemendaal, Netherlands, 1952 / Current studio: Malaga, Spain
After a journey of five years, through North and South America, and a stay of twelve years in Amsterdam, he moved his studio to Malaga, Spain, in 1989.
His work on canvas, paper or other media is conceived as abstract and dramatic expressions of contemporary art.
His career is complemented by other perspectives, like objects, installations and sculptural constructions in public spaces such as: The Labyrinth of Leon, in the green zone of the Altzheimer Foundation in Leon, Mexico, The stone maze in the park "der Ortspitze" in the city of Passau, Germany, The house of the two chimneys, build in the sculpture park of the city of Santa Rosa, Argentina, The transparent staircase in Málaga, the Cube (Kubus) in Ostend, Belgium or the Monument to the Unknown Migrant, build for the occasion of the Art Triannial of Tijuana, Mexico in 2021
